For Kwema’s services to run smoothly, ensure your App runs in the background.

iOS' Background App Refresh feature allows apps to update their content from the internet even when not in use, ensuring the most current information is available and maintaining server connections for a seamless user experience.

In order to successfully call alerts with your badge reel, keep the App running in the background. The App will remain open in the background unless you close the App yourself or your phone turns off.

PS: Don't worry too much about your phone's battery life - using this App won't cause a significant drain.
