How do I call an alert?

In order to successfully call an alert through the Kwema App, ensure that your mobile data, location services, bluetooth & notifications are turned to always on.


1. Open the Kwema App. Ensure the app is running in the background at all times.



2. Hold the button on the side of the badge reel for 3 seconds, you will receive a notification that an alert has been activated.

 



3. Alternatively, you can manually call an alert on the homepage of the Kwema App.



4. Once the alert has been activated, your organization's security network will be notified with your exact location.


5. You will be contacted via SMS or Phone call to ensure the severity of the alert. If you do not deactivate the alert or respond signaling your safety, first responders will be dispatched to your exact location.
