Is the Kwema Smart Badge Reel always on?

• No, the Kwema Smart Badge Reel only activates when you press the duress button. The Kwema Smart Badge Reel remains deactivated and does not send any signal or location data until the button is pressed.

Can the Kwema Smart Badge Reel track my location if I haven't pressed the alert button?

• No, the Kwema Smart Badge Reel only tracks the location when you activate an alert, meaning when the button has been pressed. If the button has not been pressed, the Kwema Smart Badge Reel does NOT track the user's location.

What happens if I press the alert button on my kwema Smart Badge Reel by mistake?

• If the button is pressed accidentally, your company's security team will receive an alert. They will contact you, and if you confirm that everything is fine, they will be able to deactivate the alert.

Can alerts be deactivated?

• Yes, alerts can be deactivated only by you and your Administrative or Security teams.

Once an alter is pressed, how long can my real-time location be seen?

• After pressing the Kwema Smart Badge Reel, your location will be available for 20 minutes.

How long does the battery last?

• The battery lasts for about 500 alerts or approximately two years.

Can I place a sticker on my Kwema Smart Badge Reel to identify it?

• Yes, and we recommend doing so for identification purposes. If it doesn't break or damage the plastic cover, you can add any marking or sticker you like to the Kwema Smart Badge Reel.

Is it water-resistant?

• The Kwema Smart Badge Reel is not water-resistant, but it is splash-resistant.
